I forgot that I posted more pics on our facebook but didn't put them on our blog.....oops. But here they are. The next morning was fun because he finally figured out that the balloons are not the devil. :) He now grabs at balloons everywhere he sees them. He hasn't had the "joy" of popping them yet, so we will see how he likes them after that happens.
Stockton's 1 year Birthday Party
Ok so I swear that he wasn't this sad the whole time. He didn't take a nap until it was over. And believe it or not these pictures were taken at the beginning of the party before anyone showed up. He did get more excited when all his friends showed up. We all had so much fun and I cant believe I no longer have a baby :( sniff sniff........I don't know where this last year went it went by in a flash. Thank you to everyone that came and celebrated with us it truly meant a lot to Stockton, Kayvon and I. And thank you to Kimmy who made his birthday cake!!!! HOW AMAZING IS SHE?! And it was only her 5th cake she has ever made. She just woke up one day and said....."hmmmmmmm I think I'll make cake." And she did.......and thank you!!!
BATH TIME!!!!
Ok, bath time used to be Stockton's favorite time of the day, or night I should say. But now that I finished school I am home every night he seems to not enjoy it as much as he used to. He just loves his mommy that much I guess. (yes I am bragging, hehehe) Last night we had a bit of fun playing in the tub. His hair is getting so long. He gets his first hair cut next month and I don't know how I feel about it.
5k Morning
Yesterday we all went to a "Run for dogs" race at Wheeler Farm. We loaded up Kody, Murphy and Stockton and hoped for the best. With a baby missing his first nap, a puppy who's never been on a leash and a cranky old Murphy who bites everything that walks by his mouth.......I WAS FREAKING OUT!! But all and all, it went great!!! Stockton had so much fun looking at all the animals. Kody only weaseled out of his leash twice, and once Murphy realized that he had NO chance against the cows, it went pretty smoothly. That is until we took Stockton out of his stroller and he wanted to try walking on his own and had his first run in with his upper lip and the sidewalk. Everyone looked at me like I was the worst mother EVER!!!!
Barack-ing the vote!!
Our first Circus!
It was even my first time going to the circus, and to be honest I didn't know what to expect. Ill tell you that it was NOTHING like I thought it would be but still it was.........ok. :) I thought it was going to be dirty, dark and smell of animal crap, hay and children. I was only part correct.
The picture of daddy and Stockton was taken under none other then the "great" himself....John Stockton! :)
